Figueres, Alt Empordà: L'Empordà is the most-read Catalan language weekly print publication, according to OJD figures. The paper has an audited circulation of 2,914 copies every Tuesday.

The weekly has been published since 1978 and serves readers across Alt Empordà. It says it covers the reality of 68 towns in the area through its print and digital channels.

L'Empordà also reports a strong online audience. Its social media accounts have more than 80,000 followers, while its digital edition is the second most-read in the Girona counties, with more than half a million monthly users.

The print result underlines the paper's local base in the territory, even as news consumption continues to shift online. The audited figures place it at the top of Catalan weekly print readership.
