Over 80 Companies to Attend Third Cornellà Jobs Fair
The III Fira d’Ocupació de Cornellà de Llobregat will take place on Thursday 15 October 2026 at the Fira de Cornellà venue, running from 10:00 to 15:00. The event, organised by the Ajuntament de Cornellà (Cornellà town council) in collaboration with the Cambra de Comerç de Barcelona al Baix Llobregat (Barcelona Chamber of Commerce for the Baix Llobregat region), brings together local employers with jobseekers across diverse professional sectors. According to the official announcement from the town council, 80 companies have already confirmed their participation, alongside local institutions and training centres. Jobseekers can register to attend the fair through the municipal employment department.
New Agora Space to Host Labour Market Talks
A new feature this year is the introduction of an Agora space, which will host a series of talks focused on the current labour market, career development, and employment strategies. These sessions aim to support attendees beyond immediate job matching. The fair is supported by Fundació ONCE - Inserta, an organisation promoting employment for people with disabilities, and operates within the national 'Encuentros 45+' programme promoted by the Cámara de Comercio de España and co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (FSE+).
The Ajuntament de Cornellà continues to prioritise employment and training as key drivers of social cohesion and citizen wellbeing.
The local council has focused recent economic policy on boosting business opportunities and job creation, with the jobs fair serving as a central initiative in that strategy.
How to Register and Attend
The event will be held at the Fira de Cornellà venue, located at Parc de Can Mercader, Carretera de l'Hospitalet s/n, 08940 Cornellà de Llobregat.
