CB Navàs Viscola defeated Sandá CB L'Hospitalet 83-91 on Saturday, securing their place in the Conference C Final Four. The play-offs will take place next weekend in Vic, with three spots available for the national Final Phase, which determines promotion to Segona FEB.
One team, TQ CB Prat, has already qualified for the Final Phase after beating Pujol Mollerussa in a champions' clash. Pujol Mollerussa, champions of Conference C-A, will now face CB Navàs in one of the semi-finals in Vic.
Strong Start for Navàs
CB Navàs started the match against L'Hospitalet with considerable strength, scoring 59 points in the first twenty minutes. Both teams began accurately, leading to a 21-32 scoreline in the first quarter.
The visiting team maintained their dominance into the second quarter, ending the first half with a clear 35-59 lead. Although the pace of play slowed after the break, Navàs still extended their advantage to 54-80. With the outcome decided, L'Hospitalet managed to reduce the deficit in the final quarter, ending the game at 83-91.
Fall was a standout player for Navàs, contributing 13 points and 9 rebounds. Five players on the team achieved more than 10 valuation points, according to official statistics.
Path to Promotion
Despite qualifying for the Conference C Final Four, CB Navàs faces a long journey towards potential promotion to Segona FEB. The Final Four will be held in Vic on 16 and 17 May. Navàs will play Pujol Mollerussa in their semi-final match. A win would guarantee them a spot in the inter-conference Final Phase. If they lose, they will still have a final opportunity to qualify by playing against the loser of the other semi-final.
