Final Actuation Order Confirmed
The order of performance for the XXXè Concurs de Castells de Tarragona has been set following a draw held on Saturday at the Auditori Pau Casals in El Vendrell. The event, timed to coincide with the 150th anniversary of the birth of renowned cellist and local figure Pau Casals, determined the lineup for all three contest days. The contest will begin on Monday, 27 September in Torredembarra, continue on Saturday, 3 October in Tarragona, and conclude on Sunday, 4 October at the Tarraco Arena Plaça (TAP) in Tarragona.
Torredembarra Opens the Contest
On 27 September, Castellers de Badalona will open the first day if they attempt a tower of equal or greater difficulty than a 5 de 7. Twelve teams will perform in Torredembarra, in the following order:
- G1 – Castellers de Badalona
- G2 – Castellers de Mollet
- H1 – Castellers de Berga
- H2 – Esperchats del Pla d'Estany
- I1 – Colla Castellera de la Izquierda del Eixample
- I2 – Castellers de Cerdanyola
- G3 – Castellers de Sarrià
- G4 – Castellers d'Esparreguera
- H3 – Castellers de Mataró
- I3 – Castellers de Sant Adrià
- G5 – Castellers de Valls
- H4 – Minyons de Terrassa
The draw was hosted at the Auditori Pau Casals, with the mayors of El Vendrell, Tarragona, and Torredembarra, Kenneth Martínez, Rubén Viñuales, and Raúl Garcia, presiding over the event.

On Saturday, 3 October, Colla Jove de Castellers de Sitges will open the day at TAP if they attempt a tower of 3 de 8 or higher. Eighteen groups will take part, in this order:

Castellers de Vilafranca will be the last team to perform on Sunday, positioning them among the top title contenders. The four leading groups in the final lineup, Joves de Valls, Colla Vella de Valls, Jove de Tarragona, and Castellers de Vilafranca, will act in that sequence.
The draw marks the official start of preparations for one of Catalonia’s most iconic cultural events, celebrating 30 years of the Tarragona competition.
The musical group Els Amics de les Arts will provide the soundtrack for the contest with their song 'Encara som aquí'. Performances by cellist Daniel Claret and violist Lara Fernández, themed around the casteller motto of 'force, balance, courage and sense', accompanied the draw.
