According to a statement published by TOT Sant Cugat, the group is preparing for a demanding final stretch of the 2026 season, filled with major performances across Catalonia. The team has already resumed their public appearances, beginning with an act on 11 September in Llinars del Vallès. There, they performed alongside the Xics de Granollers, a group described as one of the season's standout troupes. The Gausacs successfully dismantled a 4 de 8, a 2 de 7, and a 5 de 7, along with multiple four- and five-level pillars.
Upcoming performances across the region
The group’s next major event took place on 20 September in Valldoreix, where they shared the stage again with the Xics de Granollers and the Matossers de Molins de Rei. At that event, held in the Plaça del Casal, the Gausacs raised their fifth 4 de 8 of the season, as well as a 5 de 7 and a 3 de 7. A near-successful 2 de 7 collapsed just before completion. Future appearances are scheduled in Sabadell, Vilanova, and Mataró, with the Gausacs invited alongside groups of equal or higher standing. Each event will test their consistency and ambition as they push toward season-end goals.
Season climax with top-tier groups
The highlight of their calendar comes on 15 November, when the Gausacs celebrate their annual Diada de la Colla in Plaça d’Octavià, Sant Cugat. That Sunday’s performance will feature collaborations with two leading groups: the Castellers de Sants and the Minyons de Terrassa. According to reporting by TOT Sant Cugat, the home team aims to debut the 5 de 8, a tower they have never before completed in public, alongside the 3 de 8, 4 de 8, and a 6-level pillar. This would mark a significant milestone, especially if achieved just one week before they reunite with the same groups at the Minyons de Terrassa’s diada, one of the final major events of the casteller season.
