Barcelona will host the Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress 2026 from 3 to 5 November at Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. Fira de Barcelona said the event comes as new technologies, greater system interconnectivity and the use of artificial intelligence increase.

Organised by Fira de Barcelona and the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia, the congress will focus on digital protection for industries, businesses and services. It is set to include around 100 exhibitors, a dedicated congress programme and a hacking village.

The congress will run at the same time as the Smart City Expo World Congress. Organisers say the joint staging is intended to strengthen links between urban digitalisation and digital protection, and to address cybersecurity challenges from several angles.

Laura Caballero, president of the event, said the congress “is already a reference space where companies, institutions, and professionals share knowledge, drive new business opportunities, encourage innovation, and reinforce cybersecurity culture.”

For readers following Catalonia’s technology and public-sector agenda, the congress adds another major date to Barcelona’s autumn events calendar. More coverage of related local news is available on our news page.
