In Castelló d'Empúries, Raquel Domínguez will lead Junts per Castelló d'Empúries i Empuriabrava in next year's municipal elections.
Her presentation took place on Saturday evening at the Hort de Santa Clara in Castelló d'Empúries, Girona. Party officials said more than 100 people attended the event.
Among those present were Salvador Vergés, a deputy and Junts spokesperson in the Catalan Parliament, Joan Fuentes, the mayor of Campmany, and current councillor Dolors Barceló.
The nomination marks the party's preparations for the upcoming local vote in the Alt Empordà area. Junts used the gathering to present its local team and set out its approach to residents of Castelló d'Empúries and Empuriabrava.
