Barcelona will host Inspired in Barcelona Creative Days on Wednesday and Thursday, with 10 free conversations at 10 locations across the city. The sessions will cover design and spaces, craftsmanship, gastronomy, video games, fashion, communication, music, entrepreneurship, publishing, and design and mobility.

The Barcelona Creativity & Design Foundation, under the Inspired in Barcelona brand, is organising the event. According to the organisers, the aim is to show how creators work and think. Attendance is free, but prior registration is required. The event is supported by the Gremi d'Hotels de Barcelona, Kave Home and Vueling.

On 3 June, the morning programme includes Genís Roca, a digital culture specialist and president of Accent Obert, at the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce. Chef Oriol Castro, from Disfrutar, will join architect and designer Merche Alcalà at Roca Barcelona Gallery.

Later that day, Ugo Boulard will speak about fashion at Disseny Hub Barcelona. Núria Cabutí, chief executive of Penguin Random House, will appear with Daniel Fernández, president of the Gremi d'Editors de Catalunya, at Juno House. Designers Isern Serra and Jaume Ramírez will present at La Casa de la Llum.

On 4 June, publicist Toni Segarra and director and novelist Félix Fernández de Castro will speak at Llotja de Mar in the morning. Cecilia MoSze Tham, founder of Futurity Systems, will be joined by Timmy Ghiurau, co-founder of MidBrain, at Tech Barcelona, Pier 07.

The afternoon sessions will feature Xavier Carrillo, chief executive of Digital Legends, and Sandra Smedegaard Mondahl, senior manager of Global Studio Strategy at IO Interactive, at Palo Alto. Harriet Kjær, a luthier and founder of the Cinc Cordes workshop, and anthropologist Freya Burgos-Kjaer will discuss craftsmanship at The Social Hub Poblenou. Francesca Sangalli, C&T Design Director at Seat-Cupra, will speak with Alessandro Manetti, strategic director of Kering Accademia per le Eccellenze and curator of Barcelona Design Week, at Casa Cupra Raval.
