Manresa, in Central Catalonia, has seen two new Arabian perfume shops open in its city centre over the past three months, adding a new retail option for local shoppers.
Anahda opened two months ago at Passeig de la República, 28, in the former Ell i Ella premises. Mist d'Arabia started trading three months ago at Carrer Nou, 37, and the two shops are a short walk from each other.
According to Jonny Contreras, manager of Mist d'Arabia, the perfumes are described as more economical and longer-lasting than traditional European perfumes.
Contreras also said Arabian perfumes offer a greater number of combinations of essences, giving customers more choice in scent profiles. The opening of both shops adds to the commercial offer in Manresa's centre.
