In Amposta, the main opposition group has criticised the management of the Hospital Comarcal del Montsià, raising concerns about patient care and the centre’s financial performance.
The group said there has been a decline in the quality of care at the hospital. It called for a change in leadership if current managers cannot improve the situation.
“If they do not know more, they should resign and make way for competent and experienced people,” an opposition spokesperson said. “What they cannot do in any way is mortgage the future of the hospital.”
The hospital serves residents in the Montsià area of Terres de l’Ebre, where healthcare services remain a key local issue. For more local reporting, see our news coverage.
