Lleida city saw two vehicle fires on 28 May, with both incidents happening within four hours and no injuries reported, according to local officials.

The first fire broke out at about 5pm on Rambla Ferran, where the engine of a van caught fire while it was moving. Officers from the Guàrdia Urbana were first on the scene and helped put out the blaze.

Later, at around 8.45pm, a car was completely burned out in Plaça Santa Maria Magdalena, in the Clot neighbourhood. The two incidents are being investigated to establish their causes.

Authorities said the fires caused temporary disruption in the affected areas of Lleida. No further details have been confirmed at this stage.
