Barcelona’s public transport operator TMB will add special shuttle buses this weekend for the 3Cat en Viu event in Montjuïc, with services linking Plaça d’Espanya and the Olympic Ring in Barcelona.

The shuttle buses will run on Saturday, 30 May, and Sunday, 31 May, from 9.30am to 7.30pm. TMB said articulated vehicles will be used and all integrated public transport tickets will be valid.

The event includes free activities and content, as well as paid shows such as El Foraster and the Eufòria concert at Palau Sant Jordi. TMB will also reinforce customer service and security staff at Espanya station, which serves lines L1 and L3 and is the closest metro stop to the Olympic Ring.

Metro service will also be extended for the weekend. On Saturday, the metro will run continuously through the night. On Sunday, services will run until midnight.

Passengers can check the service notices section on the TMB website for the latest updates. For more Catalonia transport and city news, see our news page.
