A congress in Horta de Sant Joan marked the 13th anniversary of the designation and brought together 125 participants.

According to reporting on the congress, 180 companies and entities currently hold the seal. Work is also under way to extend the reserve to cover all of Ribera d’Ebre, which was not included in the original designation.
