A teenager was arrested in Sant Adrià de Besòs, near Barcelona, early on Sunday morning after allegedly stabbing a man on Carrer de la Pau, next to Fòrum beach. The incident occurred around 6am, leading to the attacker's detention with help from local security guards.
Emergency medical services sent two units to the scene. They treated the victim before taking him to hospital; his current condition is not known. Mossos d'Esquadra officers confirmed the arrest and have started an investigation to find out what happened.

Investigators are looking at security camera footage and witness statements from the port area to work out how the fight started. Sant Adrià City Council has clarified initial reports about the incident. Municipal sources denied that the stabbing was a gang-related dispute between Roma individuals, a claim made by unofficial police sources.
According to the council, the injured man is of Maghrebi origin, and the attacker is Spanish. The council praised the quick actions of the establishment's security guards, saying their description of the suspect was key to the arrest. They also highlighted the good teamwork between private security and police in resolving the case.
