Barcelona will host the next edition of Tast a La Rambla from 28 to 31 May 2026, with Plaça de Catalunya once again set to become a major food and drink venue in the city centre. The annual festival brings together restaurants, bakeries and chefs for four days of tasting portions, public activities and live music.
Entry to the festival is free. Food and drink are sold inside the venue at fixed prices, using a token system that organisers say helps speed up service. Each token is worth €1, with tapas generally costing around six tokens, or €6.
The 2026 edition runs from Thursday 28 May to Sunday 31 May, with opening hours designed for both lunch and evening visits. Thursday and Sunday run from 12pm to 10pm, while Friday and Saturday run from 12pm to 12am.
Although the event keeps the Tast a La Rambla name, it will again take place in Plaça de Catalunya rather than on La Rambla itself. Organisers say the larger square is better suited to the number of stalls, tasting areas and the main stage. More than 30 establishments are expected to take part, including Atempo, Bar Alegria, Blanc (Mandarin Oriental), Casa Amàlia 1950, Cinc Sentits, Dos Pebrots, Enoteca Paco Pérez, Gaig Barcelona, Leña Barcelona, Nandu Jubany, Tapas 24 and Virens.
The bakery and pastry section also has a strong presence, with names including Pastisseria Escribà, Forn-Pastisseria Gil, L'Atelier Barcelona, Mervier Canal, Sauleda Pastissers and Takashi Ochiai. The food on offer ranges from classic tapas and rice dishes to more contemporary plates, desserts and high-end pastries.
Alongside the tastings, the festival will host showcookings, product tastings, workshops and live music performances by DJs and other artists. Tast a La Rambla is organised by Amics de La Rambla and Grupo GSR, with support from Barcelona City Council.
