Six Anoia Projects Among 36 Selected
Six projects from the Anoia region have been chosen to receive funding through the eighth edition of the Impuls pel Territori (Boost for the Territory) programme, run by the Fundació Pinnae. The initiative will distribute €700,000 across 36 social, cultural, environmental, and health-focused projects in the comarques of Alt Penedès, Anoia, Baix Penedès, and Garraf. The funding agreements were formally signed on Tuesday 29 September 2026 at the Espai Cultural Fòrum Berger Balaguer in Vilafranca del Penedès. Attendees included Martí Solé, president of the foundation’s board, Joan Melero, the general director, and Lluís Valls, the Catalan government’s delegate in the Penedès.
Projects Target Inclusion, Health and Sustainability
The Anoia-based projects will address issues including social inclusion, education, ageing, loneliness, urban health, and environmental sustainability. They are led by local organisations such as Taller Àuria, SCCL with its "Espai Viu" initiative; Camins. Fundació Social Escola Pia with "La Peça"; and FATEC, which runs a programme to prevent unwanted loneliness. Other selected initiatives include the Spanish Red Cross in Catalonia’s "Som a prop - UES Penedès" project, the Associació per la Sostenibilitat de la Conca d’Òdena’s community action plan for environmental and urban health improvements, and the Fundació Sanitària d’Igualada’s study on the impact of its "Mou-te" programme for orthogeriatric patients.
The 36 funded initiatives are expected to directly benefit more than 13,100 people across the four regions.
This year’s allocation of €700,000 is the highest since the programme began and reflects a renewed focus on strengthening social and environmental impact, as well as promoting volunteerism, according to the foundation.
