Manresa's Sant Domènec square hosted a Senegalese cultural festival on Saturday, bringing crafts, food, music and traditional wrestling to the city centre.
The event was organised by Amics del Senegal del Bages, in collaboration with Manresa City Council. It had been postponed after the death of one of the group's members.
The wrestling display started later than planned to avoid the heat and drew strong interest from those attending. Pere Massegú, the city councillor for Finance and Cooperation, was present at the celebration, according to Regió 7.
The festival was designed to share Senegalese traditions with the local community in Manresa and create a space for cultural exchange. For more local coverage, see our news tag page.
