Mossos d'Esquadra officers arrested a 19-year-old man in Salou, Tarragona, on Saturday night for allegedly assaulting his pregnant partner in the street. Police sources confirmed the arrest to ACN, following an initial report by 'El Caso'.
The security force considers the man the alleged perpetrator of a domestic abuse offence. The incident took place around 11pm on Avinguda Carles Buïgas and was witnessed by several people.
Police Respond to Incident
After receiving an alert about the incident, a patrol from the Mossos' Urban Crime Group went to the scene. Officers found the woman lying on the ground. They attended to her and took her statement, as well as statements from witnesses to the events.
Following these actions, agents arrested the individual. The woman was then taken to a medical centre for attention.
