Rubí is the focus this Saturday as Club Natació Rubí and Club Natació Barcelona meet in the return leg of the women’s water polo División de Honor promotion play-off final. The match takes place in Rubí on 6 June at 18:15, with Rubí holding a three-goal lead from the first leg at Nova Escullera.
The game will be shown live on local television, including TDT and Movistar channel 166, in a production by Xarxa de Televisions Locals.
CN Barcelona, coached by Noèlia Mora, must overturn the 6-9 deficit from the first leg. If the aggregate score is level at the end of the match, Rubí will go up because of its higher regular-season finish.
For Rubí, promotion would mean a return to the top flight after relegation last season. For CN Barcelona, a win would bring a first appearance in Spain’s top women’s water polo league.
