Roses, in Girona, has put two fixed speed cameras into active use, and they began issuing fines to drivers on 1 June 2026 after a trial period.
The cameras are at two key access points to the town, on Avinguda de Rhode and Ronda Circumval·lació. Local officials have urged drivers to respect the posted speed limits.
According to Roses Town Council, the measure is intended to improve road safety and help prevent accidents in the area. It is also part of the municipality’s wider effort to manage traffic flow and reduce speeding.
