Reus is set to add two small university residences through a private initiative, a move aimed at easing limited student housing in the city.
Francisco Martínez and Alicia Sánchez, who lead Grup SolConfort, are behind the project. Architect Xavier Gallego designed both facilities.
The residences will be built near Plaça de la Llibertat and Avinguda Bellisens. One will have eight rooms and the other 14, adding a modest amount of dedicated accommodation for students in Reus.
The project comes as Reus continues to strengthen its role as a university centre. For more local coverage, see our news page.
