A motorcyclist died on Sunday afternoon in a traffic accident on the C-43 road, at kilometre point 9.2, within the municipality of Gandesa, Terra Alta. The Catalan Traffic Service reported that the alert was received at 11.45am. The motorcycle rider suffered a crash and died as a result of the accident, for reasons still under investigation.

Upon receiving the alert, three Mossos d'Esquadra patrols were activated and are now investigating the circumstances. One unit from the Generalitat Fire Department and several units from the Medical Emergency System (SEM) also attended the scene.
