Recent Incidents in Barcelona
This search follows other recent incidents in Barcelona. On 25 April, a man was seriously injured after being shot multiple times in the Sants-Badal neighbourhood, at the intersection of Sugranyés and Sant Frederic streets. The assailant, described as a man in black, reportedly fled on an electric scooter after the shooting, which occurred as the victim left a local shop. The Mossos d'Esquadra's Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) took charge of that investigation.
This shooting happened just days after another person was hit by several bullets on 14 April on Passeig de Taulat, in the Sant Martí district. That victim was sitting on a bar terrace and was taken to hospital in critical condition, where he died five days later.
Authorities continue to appeal for public assistance in locating Jesús. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts should contact the Mossos d'Esquadra.
