Residents of Sallent who need to report a theft or robbery can use the Mossos d'Esquadra appointment service between 06.00 and 22.00. The regional police say booking is optional, but recommend it to reduce waiting times.

The service covers reports of robbery with force at homes or business premises, robbery involving violence or intimidation, and theft or robbery from vehicles. It also covers vehicle theft, fraud, criminal damage, assault, threats and the loss of documents or other items.

Reports that can be booked in advance

The Mossos define robbery with force at a home or establishment as an offence in which someone enters using force or climbing and takes property. A theft, by contrast, is where objects are taken without the victim noticing and without force, violence or intimidation.

  • Robbery with force at a home or business.
  • Robbery involving violence or intimidation.
  • Theft or robbery inside a vehicle.
  • Vehicle theft, fraud, criminal damage, assault and threats.

For complaints concerning domestic violence, gender-based violence or offences against sexual freedom, people should not book an appointment. The Mossos state that victims will be attended directly.

Residents can use the Mossos d'Esquadra's appointment service if they wish to arrange a time to make an eligible report.
