About 80 primary school pupils from Ignasi Peraire school in Mollerussa visited the town's City Hall on 10 June 2026. Mayor Marc Solsona welcomed the third and fourth-grade students and explained aspects of the city's history and municipal management.

In the Plenary Hall, the mayor used a mural to talk about Mollerussa's past. The visit gave the children a local-first look at how the town's institutions work, from its history to its day-to-day administration.

The pupils then took on the role of local councillors and simulated a municipal council meeting. The exercise showed them how local decisions are discussed and voted on at council level.

The visit was designed to give children a practical understanding of how local government functions. It is part of the City Hall's regular educational visits for schools, which aim to bring younger residents closer to civic life.
