Mollerussa, in the Lleida area of Catalonia, will open its municipal swimming pools for the summer season on 19 June, with registrations for season passes and courses available from 16 June. The council says people can sign up online at piscinamollerussa.com or in person.
The summer programme includes around 20 groups across a dozen courses, running from 29 June to 31 July. Some activities will be offered in two shifts to allow more people to take part. Course prices range from €21.80 to €57.60, depending on the activity chosen.
The Fitness Plus programme for adults will continue this summer. It lets participants build their own activity plan, combining up to six disciplines over 18 weekly sessions. Options include maintenance, introductory and aquatic fitness activities such as Aquapower, Aquafit and Aquaerobics. Participants also get free access to the outdoor and indoor pools, plus use of the sauna and gym during agreed hours.
Season pass prices have been updated after several seasons without changes. The council says the rise is meant to support the service’s economic sustainability as operating costs increase. An adult season pass will cost €50, passes for young people aged 14 to 17 will be €40, and children’s passes will be €33.
Other pass options will also be available, including family passes, large family passes, weekly passes and passes for unemployed people. The pools will open from 10:30 to 20:30 during June, July and the first half of August, then close at 20:00 in late August and September. Entry will continue to use a chip wristband, and children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
