Mollerussa is set to host the fifth edition of the Minúscul Festival this August, with four concerts in the courtyard of Cal Jaques. The Pla d'Urgell capital will stage the series on 6, 13, 20 and 27 August, as the event continues to position itself as a cultural fixture in the area.
The festival was presented on Tuesday, 26 May 2026, along with its new visual identity and the slogan, Som part d’un batec (We are part of a beat). Organisers say the programme keeps its focus on small-format performances and on building an audience for live music in Mollerussa and the wider Lleida area.
This year’s line-up includes Raquel Lúa, Ferran Palau, Helena de Ángeles x Oskar RD, and the recital El batec by Josep Pedrals and Xavi Lloses. Festival founder Jordi Bonilla said the programme is varied and stays true to the event’s aim of offering music that can be shared closely with local audiences.
Mollerussa mayor Marc Solsona also backed the festival’s continuity, saying it is not easy for a small event to keep this format going after five years. He added that the festival’s small size is part of what makes it stand out. The promotional video for this year’s edition was directed by Pep Marco.
Raquel Lúa will open the festival on 6 August with songs from Peinar Raíces. Ferran Palau, from Collbató, will perform on 13 August with Aniversari feliç, and it will be his first appearance in Mollerussa in a solo career that spans 15 years.
Helena de Ángeles x Oskar RD will perform on 20 August with Stairway to Helen. The festival will close on 27 August with El batec, a performance that brings together Josep Pedrals and Xavi Lloses and mixes music, text, dance, provocation, madness and reflection. Concerts begin at 8pm. Advance tickets cost €5 and are available at Nu Naked Coffee in Mollerussa, with any remaining tickets sold at the box office 30 minutes before each show, when the doors open.
The Minúscul Festival is an initiative of Produccions Minúscules, with support from Mollerussa City Council. It also works with Prefabricats Pujol, Garrofé, Romà, Capdevila Loft, Torrons i Mel Alemany, Grup Parcmotor and Nu Naked Coffee. For more local news, see our news coverage.
