A 52-year-old man from Manresa was injured and taken to Sant Joan de Déu Hospital after a collision in the Trullols area of the city on Wednesday evening.

The crash happened at about 7pm and involved a car and a motorcycle. The car was driven by a 25-year-old woman from Sant Vicenç de Castellet, and police said the vehicles collided laterally and obliquely.

The accident took place at the Trullols roundabout, at the junction of Avinguda Països Catalans and Carrer Joan Fuster. Emergency services attended the scene and treated the motorcyclist before transferring him to hospital. His injuries have not been made public.

Authorities said the car driver tested negative for alcohol and drugs after the collision. No further details about the investigation or any possible charges have been released.
