A man was seriously injured in Barcelona's Sants neighbourhood on Friday night after being shot multiple times. The incident occurred around 9:45pm between Sugranyes and Casteràs streets, according to El Periódico and confirmed by police sources.
Emergency medical services (SEM) transported the victim to a hospital. The Mossos d'Esquadra, Catalonia's police force, have started an investigation to determine the circumstances of the shooting.

This incident marks another shooting in Barcelona. On 14 April, a person was critically injured after being shot on Passeig del Taulat. That victim later died in hospital, and the Mossos d'Esquadra are investigating the death as a revenge attack between rival Balkan clans.
