Recent Shootings in Barcelona
This incident marks another shooting in Barcelona. On 14 April, a person was critically injured after being shot on Passeig del Taulat. That victim later died in hospital, and the Mossos d'Esquadra are investigating the death as a revenge attack between rival Balkan clans.
Months earlier, on 11 December 2025, another person was seriously injured in a shooting on Carrer d'Espronceda, near Avinguda Meridiana. These events highlight ongoing concerns about gun violence in the city.
