A man was seriously injured on Monday morning after falling from his electric scooter in Roses, Alt Empordà. The accident happened around 10:30am on Carrer de la Riba, in the Ciutadella neighbourhood.
The Servei d'Emergències Mèdiques (SEM), or Medical Emergency Service, attended the scene. They initially took the injured man, who was described as being in a less serious condition at that point, to Figueres Hospital. However, due to the severity of his head and facial injuries, he was subsequently transferred to Vall d'Hebron Hospital in Barcelona.
