In Lleida, a man rescued a woman who jumped into the Segre River from Pont Vell bridge on Sunday evening. According to municipal sources, both people got out of the water unharmed.

Emergency services attended the scene, including Guàrdia Urbana patrols and Sistema d’Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) staff. One of the people was taken to a local medical centre for observation.

The incident comes after another recent case in Lleida. Last Wednesday, a young woman was found dead in the Segre River near Pont Nou bridge, and Mossos d'Esquadra officers from the criminal investigation unit in Lleida are handling that inquiry.
