Lawyer Magda Oranich will present her book, 'Totes les batalles' (All the Battles), at the Biblioteca del Casino in Manresa on Tuesday, 28 April, at 7pm. This event marks the 50th anniversary of the first Catalan Women's Conference.
The presentation focuses on popular memory and the role of women and the feminist movement in Catalonia. It aims to recover experiences and reflections from this field, according to organisers.
Discussing Memory and Feminism
Oranich will be joined by Josep Huguet Biosca, representing the Foment de la Memòria Popular (Promotion of Popular Memory), and Mariona Descarrega Alsina from the Consell Municipal de la Dona de Manresa (Manresa Municipal Women's Council). The discussion will take place in the library's assembly hall.
This activity is part of a wider programme that champions historical memory and the role of women in society. The book presentation offers a chance to look at past struggles and achievements, connecting them to current feminist discourse.
