Lleida will host its first FesTalent entrepreneurship event on 28 May at Parc Agrobiotech, as Lleida City Council looks to bring together local entrepreneurs and people starting new projects in the city.

The afternoon programme begins at 5:30pm with a relaxed networking session led by Hellen de Angeles, podcaster for Cavallers, 51 de la Casa de Fusta. The event will also include live videos, interviews with entrepreneurs and comedy segments, with a focus on companies developing projects in Lleida.

According to the city council, the aim is to encourage collaboration, share experiences and create spaces where new businesses can connect. Registration is available through paeria.cat/festalent, and places are limited.

During the event, mayor Fèlix Larrosa will present the NEXE, Ciutat de Lleida al Talent Awards. The first edition will recognise Bonavista Taller SCP, the graphic design studio formed by Glòria Esteve Hernández and Júlia Badia Bellés, Vibra-Espai de Salut, led by Laura Garcia Arrufat, and the sustainable architecture studio of Alba Vall-Llebrera Panadés.

Each award is worth €2,500 and is intended to support entrepreneurial and innovative initiatives in the city. For more local business coverage, see our news page.
