Lleida City Council has conducted a public draw to determine access to its popular summer educational and sports activities for children and young people. The number 681 was drawn this morning, 29 April 2026, at the Sala Jaume Magre, establishing the order of access for the 'Estiu de Petits', 'Estiu de Joc', and 'Esportmania' programmes.
Families who have secured a place must complete their registration between 30 April and 6 May. Jackson Quiñónez, the Councillor for Sports, attended the draw and highlighted that these are "quality educational and sports leisure activities designed for children's development that help family reconciliation during the summer."
In total, 2,290 applications were submitted for the three initiatives, which form part of the “VIU L’ESTIU” (Live the Summer) programme. This programme is a joint effort by the Youth, Education, and Sports departments. Each pre-registration could include up to four children and three activity shifts.
Registration Process and Vacancies
Starting tomorrow, families will receive an email confirming whether they have been admitted or placed on a waiting list. Those admitted will then have from 30 April to 6 May to formalise their enrolment.
Following this initial registration period, a 'repesca' (second chance) phase will begin. During this phase, families who were not admitted initially but are on the waiting list will have another opportunity to register. An email will be sent to all admitted 'repesca' applicants on 13 May with instructions for enrolment.
The final stage of the process is 'open registration', which starts on 25 May. Any remaining vacant places across the various programmes will be published simultaneously on the websites of the Education Department, the Sports Department, and the Paeria (Lleida City Council), allowing for immediate registration.
