Lleida police have arrested three people after an attack in the La Bordeta neighbourhood left two residents injured. The incident happened around 13:00 on 2 June 2026, according to local police.

Police said the confrontation began on Hostal street when a resident approached people who had occupied a flat. Those occupants then allegedly assaulted and chased the resident. Neighbours stepped in to help, and the group left the area.

The same group later returned with axes, sticks and other bladed weapons, and the violence continued. The escalation prompted a large police response in the area.

Patrols from the Guàrdia Urbana and the Mossos d’Esquadra, including the ARRO unit, attended the scene. Officers arrested the alleged aggressors on suspicion of assault and public disorder.

The two injured residents had contusions and were treated at the scene by SEM medical services. The investigation is ongoing.
