Three men were arrested in La Seu d'Urgell on Wednesday, 13 May 2026, after Mossos d'Esquadra officers discovered hashish, pink cocaine, and MDMA in their vehicle during a preventive roadside control on the N-260. The individuals, aged 28, 29, and 36, face charges for an alleged crime against public health.

Officers stopped a vehicle with three occupants during the operation. As they began identification procedures, they noticed a strong smell of marijuana, prompting a search of the car, according to police officials.

Inside the vehicle, hidden in the armrest, agents found a package containing a dose of pink cocaine, commonly known as 'TUSI'. Further searching among the luggage revealed a precision scale, a small piece of hashish, two bags with 15 grams of MDMA, and 2.3 grams of marijuana. Police also seized €600 in cash and 50 self-sealing bags, typically used for retail drug sales.

Further Vehicle Search and Judicial Proceedings

Following the initial discovery, the three men were arrested. One of the suspects reportedly tried to use a false identity during the stop. A more thorough search of the vehicle was conducted with the help of a canine unit. Although no additional illicit substances were found during this second search, the police dogs indicated other hidden compartments that may have been used to store drugs on previous journeys.

One of the arrested men has a criminal record. All three are expected to appear before the investigating court in La Seu d'Urgell, which is currently on duty.
