In Figueres, La Salle has launched two new vocational training programmes in Alt Empordà, with a focus on practical skills and local employment needs.

The centre says the courses were created after identifying demand from businesses in the area. Their aim is to help students gain the skills employers are looking for and to strengthen the link between education and work.

According to the school, each programme includes a strong practical element so students can prepare for real work settings. The initiative is intended to support both job placement and the wider local community.

La Salle Figueres says it has a track record of adjusting its teaching offer to reflect regional economic trends. These new courses are part of that approach, with the centre seeking to close skills gaps in the local workforce.

The school also plans to keep working with local companies to update its curriculum as industry needs change. More details on enrolment and course content are expected soon. For more local education coverage, see our news page.
