Manresa will host the first edition of La Central Creativa at ExpoBages 2026, a new meeting point for creative talent in Central Catalonia. Organised by Wells Studio, a creative agency from Bages, the project aims to raise the profile of the sector and bring professionals and businesses together.
Journalist Xavier Pérez Esquerdo and content creator Walter Capdevila are the first confirmed guests for the space. Pérez Esquerdo, known for his work in local and national media, will speak about journalism and content creation, while Capdevila will share his views on trends in social media and digital content.
La Central Creativa will run throughout ExpoBages 2026, which takes place from 23 to 25 May at Manresa's Palau de Congressos. The space will include a stage for talks, round tables and workshops, as well as an exhibition area for companies and professionals to show their work and projects.
The organisers say they want the initiative to become a reference point for creative talent in Central Catalonia. They also aim to encourage collaboration and innovation in a sector they describe as growing steadily.
