Girona hosted Afanoc’s annual 'Posa't la Gorra!' event on 14 June 2026, bringing attention to childhood and adolescent cancer and raising funds for families across Catalonia.
The event was organised by the Association of Family and Friends of Oncological Children of Catalonia, known as Afanoc. It combined a public gathering with a fundraising aim, supporting the organisation’s work with affected children, young people and their relatives.
According to the organisers, donations help maintain the free services Afanoc provides to families. Those services are part of the group’s wider support network for people dealing with cancer in Catalonia.
