Kitchen upgrade funded under ImpulsDiPTA plan
The Diputació de Tarragona has awarded a €52,943.63 subsidy to Gandesa Town Hall for the renovation of the kitchen at the local elderly care home (Llar d’avis). The total project cost is €58,826.24, with the majority covered by the grant under the ImpulsDiPTA programme, an initiative designed to streamline municipal funding and support local investment. This support falls under the broader framework of recovery and resilience funding, aimed at improving public facilities and stimulating local economies. The ImpulsDiPTA plan replaces multiple previous grant schemes, including the Pla d’Acció Municipal (PAM), and simplifies administrative procedures by up to 75%, according to the Diputació.
Contract already awarded for renovation works
The municipal contract for the renovation works was awarded on 5 June 2026 to EINA ACTIVA, a local contractor, following a simplified open tender process. The contract value was set at €48,616.74, representing a 5.5% reduction from the initial budget of €51,446.28. Part of wider regional investment strategy
The renovation is supported by the Diputació’s broader ImpulsDiPTA programme, which aligns with Spain’s Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. Specifically, it relates to investment CO2.I01, focused on socio-economic recovery in residential environments, part of the Urban Agenda component for urban rehabilitation and regeneration. Although the original call for applications under the related building rehabilitation programme closed on 31 December 2022, the ImpulsDiPTA framework continues to enable funding allocation through negotiated agreements with municipalities, preserving local autonomy while supporting strategic investment.
