Figueres-based Fisersa has opened a recruitment process for a public lighting technician, with applications due by 14 June 2026. The post is for an indefinite contract, subject to a six-month probationary period, and is advertised by the multi-municipal services company in the Alt Empordà capital.

The role covers fault-finding and repairs in lighting networks and control panels, along with preventive work and the organisation of tools, equipment and materials. It also includes on-call duties, night checks, and support for local fairs and other municipal events that need lighting services.

Day-to-day tasks also include programming hourly, telecontrol and remote-control systems, plus maintenance of vehicles and equipment, stock control, and keeping work areas tidy. Fisersa says the post also involves commissioning new installations, including aerial and underground systems, light points and control panels, as well as preventive and corrective maintenance.

Applicants need a CFGM or FP1 qualification, or more than two years of experience in lighting or a similar field, plus at least one year of experience in comparable work. A company certificate detailing previous duties is required for assessment. Candidates must also hold a valid B driving licence and an A2 level of Catalan.

Fisersa says it will value learning ability, quality focus, communication skills, autonomy, teamwork and adaptability. The job offers an intensive morning schedule from Monday to Friday and a gross annual salary of €23,935.33, in line with the FISERSA GR4 NIV3 collective agreement.
