FC Barcelona will celebrate their La Liga championship title with a parade through the streets of Barcelona on Monday, allowing players and staff to share the trophy with fans. The official start time for the parade is 5pm, with preparations beginning earlier in anticipation of large crowds.

The parade, featuring two specially decorated Barcelona Bus Turístic vehicles, is expected to last over four hours, concluding around 10pm. The Guàrdia Urbana will accompany the Barça procession to help with mobility, while the Guàrdia Urbana and Mossos d'Esquadra will ensure event security, according to Barcelona City Council officials.

Parade Route and Schedule

The procession will start from Spotify Camp Nou, travelling along Travessera de les Corts, Numància, Berlín, París, Balmes, Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, Passeig de Gràcia, Provença, Aribau, Londres, Avinguda de Sarrià, Travessera de les Corts, Arístides Maillol, before finishing back at the Barça stadium.

Early celebrations were already seen on Sunday night and Monday morning. Marc Casadó and Alejandro Balde led chants in Plaça Catalunya, while Pedri, Èric Garcia, and Dani Olmo were spotted cycling around the city. Club president Joan Laporta also joined in the festivities at Luz de Gas.

Traffic and Public Transport Advice

Due to the parade, Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) recommends using the metro and warns that surface traffic restrictions will affect part of the bus network. The metro will operate until midnight, with additional staff and security personnel deployed from 4pm at stations along the parade route.

TMB has listed the closest metro stations to the parade route as: Badal (L5), Collblanc (L5), Palau Reial (L3), Maria Cristina (L3), Les Corts (L3), Passeig de Gràcia (L2, L3, L4), Entença (L5), Hospital Clínic (L5), Diagonal (L3, L5), Universitat (L1, L2), Catalunya (L1, L3), and Urquinaona (L1, L4).

More than 30 TMB bus lines will experience diversions along the affected itinerary. These include lines D20, D40, D50, H8, H10, H12, H16, V1, V3, V5, V7, V9, V11, V13, X1, X3, 6, 7, 19, 22, 24, 27, 52, 54, 55, 59, 63, 67, 68, 70, 78, 113, 157, 175, and both the blue and red routes of the Barcelona Bus Turístic. Residents and visitors should plan their journeys accordingly.
