Egiba Manresa secured its place in the final phase of the Iberdrola League, Spain's top women's artistic gymnastics competition, after winning its second qualifying round in Valencia on Saturday. The Manresa-based club had also won its first qualifying event, despite competing with absences.

The team travelled to Poliesportiu Cabanyal with all its gymnasts, aiming to provide rotation and experience to younger members. This strategy meant no single Manresa gymnast topped the individual general classification. However, the consistent performance across all apparatus allowed coach Xavi Casimiro's team to claim a second victory.

Individual Apparatus Results

In the vault exercise, Manresa specialist Laia Font finished fourth, with Siena Palasí fifth and Tisha Volleman ninth. On the uneven bars, Tisha Volleman placed third, Lorena Medina tenth, and Laia Janué fourteenth.

Laia Font achieved second place on the balance beam, while Ariadna Piella was eighth and Lorena Medina fourteenth. Tisha Volleman won the floor exercise, with Lorena Medina fourth and Bruna Grustan thirtieth.

Final Phase in Pamplona

The final phase of the Iberdrola League of women's artistic gymnastics clubs will take place in Pamplona on 27 and 28 June. Egiba will compete against CGA l'Hospitalet, Xelska Illes Balears, and GYM-VAL for the title.
