Barcelona police are investigating a robbery at the Dolce & Gabbana store on Passeig de Gràcia, after thieves used a car to smash into the luxury shop early on Friday morning. The alert was received at 5:58am, according to betevé.

The incident happened at number 95 Passeig de Gràcia. Initial estimates say the thieves took clothing and handbags before fleeing the scene.

Police said the suspects left in two stolen vehicles and drove off along Avinguda Diagonal. The Mossos d'Esquadra are working with the Guàrdia Urbana to look for the vehicles and identify those involved.

The robbery comes two days after a similar ram-raid style theft at another luxury business in the Turó Park area of Barcelona. As of Friday, no arrests had been made and the investigation remained open.
