Manresa will host writer and psychopedagogue Daniel Gabarró this Wednesday at 5:30pm, in a free talk at the Casa per la Solidaritat i la Pau Flors Sirera.
The event has been requested by the Association for Recovery and Integral Reinsertion Espai per l'Ànima, based in Manresa. The group, founded in 2019, says it offers collective support through emotional and psychotherapeutic care, art therapy, cultural activities, social events, sport, and contact with nature.
According to Antoni Garcia of Espai per l'Ànima, the talk will focus on self-knowledge and personal growth, under the title “Discovering my self. How? And dangers...”. Gabarró is taking part free of charge to support the association.
Gabarró describes himself as a guide who has spent decades helping people with self-knowledge. He is a teacher, psychopedagogue, writer and lecturer, with more than 25 years of experience in education, from early years to university level. He has also taught at Ramon Llull University and the University of Lleida.
He is known for creating the “Gabarró Method” for learning orthography, a system based on NLP that aims to help students improve spelling visually and unconsciously, without rigid memorisation of rules. He also works as a trainer with individuals and organisations in processes of conscious transformation and self-knowledge.
The talk adds to the community work of Espai per l'Ànima in Bages, where the association continues to offer support linked to recovery and social reinsertion. For more local coverage, see our news page.
