Mollerussa will host a tribute concert to Creedence Clearwater Revival this Sunday, 14 June, at Teatre L’Amistat. The show, by Willy and the Poor Boys, starts at 7pm and is organised by the Music Association in collaboration with Mollerussa City Council.

Tickets are on sale online for €16 in advance or €20 at the box office on the day. Members of the Music Association can attend for free. The concert marks the end of the association’s season, which usually focuses on classical music but is making an exception for rock, according to board members Antonio Aranda and Gemma Moreno, who spoke alongside Mayor Marc Solsona.

The weekend in Mollerussa also brings the final event of the 7th Young Interpreters Cycle. The series has included five concerts aimed at giving visibility to emerging musicians.

The closing performance takes place on Saturday, 13 June, at 6.39pm in the Sant Isidori Chapel. Duo Belarc will perform accordion and double bass music.
