Cerdanyola del Vallès is hosting its tenth annual photography competition, inviting residents to capture the spirit of the Roser de Maig festival. Organised by AFOCER (Agrupació Foto-Cine Cerdanyola-Ripollet) with support from the Cerdanyola del Vallès City Council, the competition focuses on images taken during the festival's events from 1 to 4 May 2026.

Participants can submit up to five photographs, either in colour or black and white. The deadline for entries is Sunday, 24 May 2026. The competition offers a single prize: a weekend getaway for two people, valued at €120.

Entry to the competition is free. Images must be submitted via the AFOCER website, www.afocer.cat. All photographs must be original works taken during the festival days; images generated using artificial intelligence or those with visible watermarks or names will not be accepted.

The verdict of the competition will be announced publicly on 28 May 2026 at 18:30 at AFOCER's local premises. Following the announcement, the best entries will be showcased on the AFOCER website.
