In Alt Empordà, Girona, the business group Cercle Euram is calling for key infrastructure projects to be used to support effective reindustrialisation in the comarca.

The group says infrastructure on its own is not enough. It argues that public and private planning should help attract new industry, strengthen the local economy and support job creation across the area.

Cercle Euram says this approach is important for the region’s economic future, and that investment should be directed towards long-term growth rather than short-term gains. The group sees reindustrialisation as a central part of that strategy.

Its proposals also point to cooperation between public bodies and businesses, with the aim of identifying industrial needs and opportunities in Alt Empordà. The group wants policies that make it easier for companies to set up or expand in the region.

The next step for Cercle Euram is to present its detailed proposals to local and regional authorities. It hopes to influence future planning and investment decisions in Alt Empordà.
