Students in Catalonia are preparing for the 2026 university entrance exams, known as the Selectivitat. To support revision, betevé has compiled past exam papers organised by topic and subject, with solutions available for download.

The resource includes papers from previous years, plus the 2025 PAU exams and solutions for Catalonia. Since last year, the exams have changed, with a stronger focus on competency and fewer optional choices. According to betevé, grammatical and spelling errors now also carry penalties.

The updated format places more emphasis on reading comprehension, written expression and linguistic reflection. Students can also use betevé's quizzes, which include questions from past exams, including 2025 and 2024. For the source article, see betevé.

The past papers cover a wide range of subjects. These include Earth and Environmental Sciences, Art History, Mathematics, Music, Physics and several languages, including Catalan, Spanish, English, French, German and Italian. Topics range from hydrosphere and geodynamics to matrices, derivatives, phonetics, grammar, listening comprehension and reading comprehension.

Other subjects mentioned in the collection include Electrotechnics, Business Economics, Literature, History, Design, Latin, Technical Drawing, Philosophy, Spanish Literature, Chemistry, Geography, Greek, Industrial Technology, Performing Arts and Environmental Science. Advertising, cinema, image analysis and photography were once part of the PAU, but are no longer included.

Students can use these materials to get used to the style of questions and the range of topics that may appear in the 2026 Selectivitat. For more Catalonia education coverage, see our News page.
