Seventeen nightclubs across Catalonia, with 13 located in Barcelona city, have been nominated for The World's 100 Best Clubs 2026 awards by the International Nightlife Association. Public voting for the prestigious global recognition opened on 15 April and will close on 31 July.

Barcelona has cemented its reputation as a global nightlife hub, with several of its venues consistently featuring in international rankings. In 2025, four Barcelona clubs were listed among the world's top 100, with Shoko Barcelona (7th) and Opium Barcelona (9th) both securing spots in the top 10. Sutton (12th) and Sala Apolo (34th) also featured prominently.

Beyond the capital, other Catalan locations also saw clubs recognised in the 2025 rankings. Lloret de Mar had three venues: Disco Tropics (23rd), St. Trop (74th), and Disco Privé (98th). Biloba in Lleida (82nd), Tropical Salou in Salou (85th), Cocoa Mataró in Mataró (90th), and La Píkkara in Barberà del Vallès (96th) also made the list, according to Diari de Girona.

The selection process for The World's 100 Best Clubs combines public votes with an evaluation by an international professional jury. This year, the province of Barcelona secured 17 nominations, two more than the previous year, with 13 of these in Barcelona city itself.
